Who am I?

I am married and a mother of three wonderful, unique, children who couldn't be more different from each other.

I grew up enjoying the simple things in life such as tree climbing, puddle splashing, the warmth of the sun on my face, and sand between my toes.  Who am I kidding!  I still love those things.

I also love people in all their unique grit and beauty.

My mind is and has always taken snapshots of everything around me.  Especially people and nature.  My father was a photographer and I was often one of his subjects.  I have to admit, at the time, it was a little annoying.  But, I was always secretly flattered and excited when he would develop the picture and show it to me.  He had a darkroom in a tiny closet in one of our homes and I was always so fascinated with the mysterious things that went on in there and amazed at the process.  Fortunately, that part has gotten much easier with digital photography.

My love for photography began as a child and became a passion and joy as I began to combine my love for nature and natural light with my love for people.  After years of capturing moments for others and repeatedly having them tell me that I should "do this for a living".  I decided that it totally made sense to have a career doing what I love.  So, I do!

See you soon,
